Null Paradox | Gertrude, Grace, and Seth

While Gertrude and Grace have been best of friends for a long time, they have their heated moments.  Usually about two things:  Gertrude’s diminishing ability to speak her mind with anyone, and in particular with Grace.  And Grace’s occasional raging jealousy about anyone who comes close to Seth.

In Gertrude & Grace, our first book, Grace almost kills a girl (Julia) at one of Seth’s parties for seemingly getting too close to Seth.  And during a later card came, following an earlier misunderstanding, Grace starts by accusing Gertrude of cheating at cards.  An argument that moments later explodes.

Here’s the reaction of Annabelle (Seth’s trusted card dealer), The Bully, and a Crank.  All the while, Seth just sits back and is…an enigma.
