As we continue to develop our new touring show, this week we’ll focus on a major change to our stage design: The Psychological Easing Machine. First introduced in our book Gertrude & Grace, the design of the machine becomes part of the new stage.
Based on the illustration by Ana Cruz from our first book, Tom Libertiny is designing, programming, and building the prototype for our new stage and the less-than human creatures that are part of Null Paradox shows by hand.
Since the Steampunk genre has considerable overlap with the Maker Culture, everything down to coding and electronics is being handmade. This includes the Arduino based computer controller.
We’ll have more photos as the prototype equipment continues to be constructed.
